Quaint, lovely old fashioned pub with great service and drinks. Plenty of room with a wonderful, relaxed atmosphere. I believe they have rooms if you wanted to crash for the night.
We had the "Korean Belly Pork" burger - it was Awful! It was neither Korean or belly pork! It was a burnt burger bun with lettuce and tomato and two big slices of very dry Roast Pork and we presume the sauce must have had something to do with Korea! Chips were nice but the meal - unacceptable for $23.00.
Disappointing lunch. 3 of the 7 of us ordered the seafood basket for $29. The two scallops that were supposed to be crumbed were battered and burnt to inch of their life. The coconut prawns were out of a box and overcooked and I thought the fish was a chip it was that small. The accompanying salad wasn’t great either. Complacency at its best. We’re local to the coast so it’s doubly disappointing. Need to lift their game!
We stopped in for lunch today. 2 meals. Parmigiana and wrap & chips.
Admittedly they were busy, but we should've been made aware of how long meals would take. We waited over an hour, and to be honest won't be back in a hurry, chicken wrap consisted mainly of mashed avocado. Chips weren't hot or fresh. Sorry. For such a lovely little town, its a let down. And looking around at tables as we were leaving, there was lots of food left on plates.
manager need to review what’s served. brisket fries cold like it was pulled out of the fridge, chicken wings were dry and 16$ for 5 tiny wings that are worth 1$. chicken wings weren’t marinated. bad customer service and definitely wouldn’t go back
Would have to be one of the best steaks we've had in a long time.
Both the Pepper and Diane Suaces were fantastic, especially the Diane, real proper sauce.
Only came for Dinner. First time.
My Medium-Well done Rump steak was spot on and wife said her Rib eye was also great 👍🏼
